The collection is a project of the Czech Film Center and includes 14 short films (fiction, documentary and animation) selected from 239 entrants.

The DVD will next be presented at the Clermont-Ferrand short film market and festival, running through 9 February. The Czech Film Center will be present at the festival with a stand organized in cooperation with FAMU film school and the Association of Animation Films.

The DVD collection has been an important tool in marketing Czech short films worldwide. According to the Czech Film Center, films on the past three editions of the collection have been screened at some 50 festivals annually.
