PRAGUE: A draft budget including 800m CZK for film incentives and 400m CZK for new Czech film production has been put forward.
According to the Czech press agency CTK, the budget will be discussed at an August meeting between the Minister of Culture and the Finance Minister.
The cultural budget would be increased over the original proposal, but still fall short of the 2015 budget by 250m CZK. The budget for film incentives will rise by 300m CZK, and the budget for new Czech film production will be increased by 180m CZK.
