The highlights include the presence in Jihlava of the film legend Artavazd Peleshyan, the retrospective of French filmmaker and avant-gardist Eugene Deslaw, the first edition of the Conference Fascinations, bringing together Czech experimental filmmakers with the leading international distributors, and the opportunity to talk  to Julian Assange, the founder of WikiLeaks and Masha Alyokhina, member of Pussy Riot.

Films related to the refugee crisis and a section focusing on surrealism, spotlighting names such as Švankmajer and Hackenschmied are also in the programme.
