Another ten films will compete for the Amnesty International/Febiofest Award. The festival will this year pay tribute to Carmen Maura, Daniel Brühl, Jan Cvitkovič, Marco Bellocchio and Peter Morgan, focus on Macedonia and also programme Asian and Latin American Panoramas. Other sections are Slovak Day, Made in USA, Czech Track, Febiofest Junior, World Cinema Panorama and Culinary Cinema.
After last year’s exhibition of Kim Novak’s paintings at the Strahov monastery, Febiofest organises an exhibition of Andrzej Wajda’s drawing reproductions in CineStar Anděl in Prague.
This year’s festival's Grand Prix will be again awarded by a jury of 33 film fans, led by an honorary chairman. After 23 March 2016, the festival will continue in all regions of the Czech Republic as Echoes of Febiofest.
