The participants selected to take part in the programme, which entails screenings of their films, master classes and industry meetings, include directors from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Poland, Georgia and Slovakia. The ten directors are: Neven Samardzic (Bosnia and Herzegovina), Judita Gamulin (Croatia), Jakub Radej (Poland), David Gurgulia (Georgia), Michal Duris (Slovakia), Hleb Papou (Italy), Stijn Bouma (Netherlands), Lora Mure-Ravaud (Switzerland), David Pinheiro Vicente (Portugal) and Dawid Ullgren (Sweden). The directors will present a selection of short films.
EFP Future Frames 2016 participant Klara Kochanska from Poland will also be represented at KVIFF with her feature film debut Via Carpatia (MD4, Chimney Poland, Kijora Film, Sound Mind – Michał Fojcik, Polish Film Institute), which competes in the East of the West section.
