Oscar-winning Czech director Jiri Menzel is headed to Croatia for a pair of documentary projects.
According to the Croatian Times, Menzel met with the head of the Croatian tourism department on March 6 to discuss plans to shoot two documentaries with a humorous take on the Czechs' fascination with Croatia as a favorite destination. Nearly 7% of Czechs vacationed in Croatia in 2008.
The documentaries, Our Sea, Your Sea and My Croatia, are due to be completed by the end of 2009.
