Production companies and individuals from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Cyprus, Estonia, Georgia, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Malta, Montenegro, Slovakia, Slovenia and other countries can apply.

The platform is the first of its kind in Malta and is set up with the financial support of Arts Council Malta through the Creative Industries Platform.

Starting in 2019, the lab will organise two workshops per year for documentary and fiction films, and various networking and promotional events held throughout the year and during the Valletta Film Festival..

The first international workshop for long documentaries will be held in Valletta on 18-23 March 2019.
