WARSAW: Andrzej Wajda’s newest production topped the list of films receiving funding in the third round of grants from the Polish Film Institute.
Among the 13 films receiving grants were only a handful of films from name directors, as well as four debut films and four second features. Four of the films are international coproductions.
A total of nearly 20 m PLN was distributed to the films, with grants ranging from 3 m PLN down to 400,000 PLN.
