WARSAW: Feature from Poland and a Serbian, Croatian, Slovenian coproduction will screen at Sundance's World Cinema Dramatic section. A documentary from Georgia will also compete.

Polish feature Lasting (Nieulotne), written and directed by Jacek Borcuch, produced by Manana (www.manana.pl) and starring Berlinale's Rising Star laureate Jakub Gierszał, will have its world premiere at the Park City festival (www.sundance.org), which runs 17-27 January 2013. Borcuch's previous feature All That I Love, also starring Gierszał, premiered at the festival in 2010, and was forwarded by Poland for Oscar consideration.

Lasting follows two Polish lovers who meet while working summer jobs in Spain and are thrown into chaos by an unexpected nightmare.

Serbia's Circles, also premiering at Sundance, is a Croatian, Slovenian, German and French coproduction. Circles is a psychological drama based on a 1993 incident in Belgrade during the Bosnian war in which Srdjan Aleksic, a Serbian soldier, lost his life trying to protect a Bosnian civilian. Directed by Srdan Golubovic with budget of €2 million, the film is repped by Memento Films International (www.memento-films.com).

The Machine Which Makes Everything Disappear is the first feature-length documentary from Georgian director Tinatin Gurchiani, produced by Georgia's Alethea and Germany's TTFilm. About a director looking to cast young protagonist for a film about modern Georgia, it ironically follows several
    promising candidates.
