The competition included 55 films from 30 countries. The festival distributed prizes worth over 25,000 EUR. The festival’s special Award of Excellence went to Michael Stewart, director of the London Open City Documentary Film Festival,
The winning film in the Central & East European Competition was When the War Comes (Croatia, Czech Republic) by Jan Gebert. The best director prize in this category went to Nebojsa Slijepcevic for the Croatian documentary Srbenka.
The festival also had a Romanian competition, with the best documentary award going to Caisa by Alexandru Mavrodineanu.
