FESTIVALS: Quit Staring at My Plate Wins the 45th Belgrade International Film Festival – FEST

    BELGRADE: Quit Staring at My Plate by Hana Jušić was awarded the Belgrade Victor for Best Film at the 45th Belgrade International Film Festival – FEST, while Requiem for Mrs. J by Bojan Vuletić was awarded Best Film in the National Competition programme (Serbian Film). The festival took place from 24 February to 5 March 2017.

    The jury of the Main Competition programme was composed of Srdan Golubović – president, Dalibor Matanić, Sergej Trifunović, Branka Katić and Čedomir Kolar. Ksenija Marinković, Miroslav Momčilović, Hrvoje Hribar, Slobodan Skerlić and Jean-Marc Barr decided the awards for the National Competition programme. The jury of the Frontiers Competition programme was composed of Dragan Jovičević, Saša Radojević and Luka Bursać.

    The 45th edition of the Belgrade International Film Festival – FEST screened a total of 95 films in 14 different categories and welcomed a high number of high-profile foreign guests such as Monica Bellucci, Carlos Saura, Hugh Hudson and Fernando Trueba. It also hosted the third edition of its industry segment, FEST FORWARD, organised by Film Center Serbia.
