Slovakian drama Out, which chronicles a "North-Eastern European Odyssey" from Slovakia to Estonia, is the debut feature of FAMU graduate György Kristóf. And Georgian director Merab Kokochashvili, whose filmography spans over five decades, brings drama Terzo Mondo to B'EST, which participates alongside work from Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Ukraine France and the UK.
B’EST, designed for feature film projects from the European Union, the CIS countries and Georgia, is in its second edition, held by the organizers of Estonia's Baltic Event and Northern Seas Film Forum in cooperation with EAVE (European Audiovisual Entrepreneurs), RFilms, Russia's CTB Film Company, with support from MEDIA Mundus.
Participants attend two workshops, 11-15 September at the St Petersburg IFF, and 26-29 November in Tallinn during Baltic Event.
