{mosimage}Unlu returns to the big screen after directing the hit TV series Leyla & Mecnun. The Extremely Tragic Story of Celal Tan and His Family is the story of a law professor whose wife is dead. In his fifth film as a director and seventh film as a scriptwriter, Unlu once again centers his film on a series of absurd events.
Unlu is a director who is known as ‘audience breaker'. In his newest film, he works with veteran actors Selcuk Yontem, Koksal Engur and Bulent Emin Yarar.
The film completed shooting in summer 2011.
