BRATISLAVA: Slovak director Matyas Prikler is in the sound mixing stage with Fine, Thanks, a film investigating the way the financial crisis is affecting the intimate lives of the people, revealing a severe picture of their complicated relationships.
Fine, Thanks /Ďakujem, dobre consists of a prologue, three main stories, and an epilogue connected by the lead characters. The short film with the same title made by Prikler in 2010 will be the first part of it. This is his first feature.

BUCHAREST: Razvan Savescu is developing and scouting locations for his first feature America, Here We Come, the story of a group of provincial actors was invited by the NY-based Romanian Cultural Centre to perform Carnival Scenes, an old Romanian classic, on the occasion of Romania's National Day.

{mosimage}ZAGREB: Acclaimed Croatian director Rajko Grlić, nominated at the Palm d'Or for Bravo Maestro in 1978, is preparing The Viper's Glen Miracle for shooting in 2013.
The Viper's Glen Miracle/Čudo u Poskokovoj Dragi will be adapted for the screen by Ante Tomić from his 2010 comic novel. The story is centered on the family of an old man living in the Dalmatian mountains who is refuses to accept modern civilization despite his four sons attempts to change his situation.

PRODUCTION: Shia LaBeouf to Shoot The Necessary Death of Charlie Countryman in Romania
BUCHAREST: Fredrik Bond's first feature The Necessary Death of Charlie Countryman will bring Shia LaBeouf, Evan Rachel Wood, Melissa Leo, Mads Mikkelsen, Til Schweiger and James Buckley to Bucharest. Shooting is set to start the end of May and to last for one month. MediaPro Studios (www.mediaprostudios.com) are providing facilities.

LJUBLJANA: Slovenian producer Petra Seliškar is in post-production with a creative documentary humorously and personally confronting the borders of Europe. This 60 minute/90 minute film is a sequel to Seliškar's previous documentary The Grandmothers of Revolution (2006).
