KRAKOW: Czech film director Marek Najbrt is shooting his new project entitled Polish Film. The shoot will continue in Krakow through September 2011. The premiere is planned for 2012 at the Kralovy Vary IFF.

BUCHAREST: Pavel Cuzuioc is in the last stages of postproduction with Doina groparilor/Digging for Life, a 55 min documentary he directed, wrote and shot for HBO Central Europe (www.hbo-centraleurope.com). The film describes the daily life of a group of gravediggers at the Doina cemetery near Chişinău, the capital city of the Republic of Moldova, also exploring the traditional preparations for death and burial in the Republic of Moldova.

SOFIA: Vladislav Todorov's film adaptation of Zincograph based on his novel started its long awaited shoot on 9 August 2011 and will end on 11 September. Production will take place in Nu Boyana's film studios as well as on location.

WARSAW: Łukasz Karwowski is shooting Kac WAWA (a play on words meaning Warsaw Hangover), a Polish comedy about a bachelor party gone wild. The shoot started on 9 April 2011 in Warsaw and will last till the second half of September.

WARSAW: Komeda Nad Poznaniem (Komeda Over Poznań), an original documentary devoted to the Polish music composer Krzysztof Komeda Trzciński, is being shot in Warsaw. The premiere is planned for December 2011.
