NICOSIA: Cyprus is offering a whole range of new incentives to attract international productions to the island and to boost its own small film industry.
NICOSIA: Cyprus has launched a new government scheme that will provide producers with incentives, cash rebates and/or tax credits of up to 35% on qualifying production expenditure. Tax allowances of 20% for investment in infrastructure and equipment are also planned.
PAPHOS: The 13th Cyprus International Film Festival Golden Aphrodite concluded in Paphos on Sunday, 1 July, with an award ceremony presented by the festival’s founder Petra Terzi and Stefanos Theofylaktou. The night also included a live musical performance.
