The programme (23-26 November 2012) brought some of the hottest new films, like Levan Koguashvili’s Street Days to the Slovak capital as well as the classics of Georgian cinema like Magdana’s Lurja by Tenghiz Abuladze and Rezo Chkheidze.

Director of GNFC Tamar Tatishvili, Deputy Director of GNFC Salome Sepashvili, Georgian filmmakers Nana Janelidze and Keti Machavariani were in Bratislava for the event.

The film Racha, My Love created in 1977 (Czechoslovakia, USSR), which audiences got a rare glimpse of in Bratislava, is considered to be the first Georgian-Slovakian coproduction.

The event was organized by Georgian National Film Center (www.gnfc.ge) and Slovakian Film Institute (www.sfu.sk) with the support of Georgian Embassy in Slovakia.
