    Muranow Cinema, POLA screening room

Presented during last year’s Forum, The Black Mill is currently in post-production. We will watch a 20 minute presentation of the project. The Black Mill is an adaptation of a novel by Marcin Szczygielski. Both the film and the book are a modern and frightening story for children, inspired by the fairy tales of the Brothers Grimm and Stranger Things on the one hand and a universal story about power, friendship, family and accepting disabilities and poverty on the other. The Black Mill will premiere in November 2020.

    Script writing masterclass – a screenwriting workshop 25.09, 4:30pm - 6:30pm,
    Jewish Historical Institute (Blue Skyscraper)

Workshop by Philip LaZebnik – scriptwriter and script consultant.
Philip worked for Disney Studios and Dream Works for many years. He is the man behind Mulan, Pocahontas (Disney), The Prince of Egypt and The Road to El Dorado (Dream Works). The participants will have a chance to use his method in order to come up with their own story during the workshop.
