SKOPJE: Cinemas in North Macedonia are now allowed to fill cinemas to 75 percent of their capacity under COVID-19 prevention and control efforts.

SKOPJE: Macedonian award-winning director Teona Strugar Mitevska is in development with Mother (a Possible Story of Mother Teresa), a film about Mother Teresa before she becomes Mother Teresa. Labina Mitevska is producing through North Macedonia's Sisters and Brother Mitevski Production in coproduction with Sebastien Delloye through Entre Chien et Loup from Belgium.

SKOPJE: The British distributor Videoplugger has picked up the popular Macedonian children’s animated series Bibi’s World / Svetotna Bibi, aimed at 4-6-year-olds.

SKOPJE: Macedonian company SVOD Master D.O.O has launched a new national VOD platform Gley.mk in North Macedonia. The platform offers a wide range of local, regional and international films, and children's programmes, translated and dubbed into Macedonian and Albanian.

SKOPJE: The German/Finish coproduction The Other Side Of The River directed by Antonia Killian has received the Best Film Award at 6th edition of the KineNova International Film Festival, which took place from 27 to 31 October 2021. The award for Best Director went to Stefan Arsenijević for As Far as I Can Walk / Strahinja Banović, a coproduction between Serbia, France, Luxembourg, Bulgaria and Lithuania.
