Jour2Fête Acquires Greek/French/Serbian Coproduction Her Job Ahead of TIFF World Premiere

PRODUCTION: Serbian/Bosnian TV Drama Series Morning Changes Everything Wraps Shooting
Serbia 21-08-2018BELGRADE: A forty-episode TV series Morning Changes Everything is currently in production in Serbia. The first four episodes of this Serbian/Bosnian coproduction were screened within the Sarajevo Film Festival’s Avant Premiere programme last week.
BELGRADE: Serbian documentary filmmaker Tamara von Steiner is currently in production with Road to Agartha, the first Serbian film production to be entirely shot in Vietnam. Von Steiner’s third long observational documentary is supported by Film Center Serbia.
BELGRADE: Film Center Serbia has allocated 847,471 EUR / 100 m RSD for the production of three potentially commercial feature films, including one sequel.
The following grants were announced by Film Center Serbia on 2 August 2018.
BELGRADE: USA- based French director Alexandre Aja has just started shooting his new feature film Crawl in the capital city of Serbia with Work in Progress company servicing. Sam Raimi and Rob Tapert are producing through Ghost House Pictures together with Alexandre Aja for Paramount Pictures. The film will be entirely shot in Belgrade.
PODGORICA: Montenegrin director Ivan Salatić has just completed his debut feature You Have the Night/ Ti imaš moć which has been selected in the Critics’ Week programme at the Venice Film Festival 2018. The film is a coproduction between Montenegro, Serbia and Slovenia.
BELGRADE: Film Center Serbia distributed 1,775,982 EUR / 209.5 m RSD for the production of nine feature films, including two debut features.
BELGRADE: Six new members have been appointed to the Management Board of the Film Center Serbia (FCS), replacing members whose mandate had expired. The government of the Republic of Serbia appointed and confirmed the new members. Three current board members remained in place.
BELGRADE: The mix-genre rom-com/road movie Taxi Blues / Taksi Bluz commenced its principal shooting at the end of May. The film will mark the feature debut for the director, Miroslav Stamatov. Taxi Blues was granted 20 million dinars (170,000 EUR) from Film Center Serbia’s call for commercial film projects.
