BELGRADE: Film Center Serbia plans to increase the percentage of its cash rebate for film production, from its present 20% on qualified Serbian spend for feature films, TV series, animation films and visual effects, TV commercials and documentaries.
BELGRADE: Eleven years after his first film, Miloš Avramović is shooting South Wind / Južni vetar, his sophomore feature. The film is an action thriller with strong social messages for the young in Serbia today.
BELGRAD: The first Serbian genuine science fiction film, Erdelezi Rising by Lazar Bodroža, is in postproduction and its authors are eyeing a world premiere at one of the major world film festivals this winter. Erdelezi Rising marks yet another local production supported by Film Center Serbia.

BELGRADE: Writer/director Predrag Antonijević returns to Serbian cinema after 27 years with Soldier’s Lullaby / Zaspanka za vojnike, a WWI drama he is currently shooting in Serbia. The film is an adaptation of Stevan Jakovljević’s classical realistic novel Srpska trilogija / Serbian Trilogy, written almost 100 years ago.
BELGRADE: Film Center Serbia and the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Press, Publications, Radio, Film and Television of the People’s Republic of China signed a memorandum focusing on future cooperation in several areas including film production and film distribution.
BELGRADE: Maša Nešković’s debut feature Asymmetry – Three Teritories / Asimetrija – Tri teritorije is currently shooting in Serbia. It is one of the new Serbian films recently supported by Film Center Serbia.

BELGRADE: Stitches / Šavovi, the second feature film by Miroslav Terzić, after the acclaimed Redemption Street / Ustanička ulica (2012, produced by Kombajn Film and Pakt Media), has entered postproduction. The film is a Serbian/Slovenian coproduction.
